Starting the process of counselling can be both empowering and frightening. My approach is solution-focused and proactive. Through our collaborative work together, you can expect to raise your awareness, confront obstacles to change and enhance the skills you need for lasting solutions. Most don’t want to be in therapy forever, and my goal is to help you achieve your goals in the best and most efficient way possible.

Approach

I use a variety of different clinically proven techniques and strength-based approaches to create an environment of exploration that emphasizes self-awareness and change.

Integrating the latest knowledge from neuroscience, trauma therapy, attachment theory and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to name a few, I support clients to become conscious of patterns in their lives, focus on solutions that work for them, and use evidence-based tools that will support them.

Each person or couple seeking therapy is unique and requires solutions that fit their specific circumstances. You are the expert in your life and together we can work collaboratively to break down the barriers keeping you from your ideal life.

VIRTUAL THERAPY: VIDEO OR TELE-COUNSELLING

Online therapy has become a very popular form of therapy due to the flexibility it provides with things like more convenient time management for appointments, and no commute or time spent looking for parking!

I offer both video (Zoom) or telephone counselling. All forms of therapy strictly follow all ethical guidelines to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and conducted in a comfortable and calming environment with professionalism and privacy ensured at all times.

Individual therapy: $150

Couples therapy: $180

The majority of extended health benefit plans (such as Sunlife, ManuLife, Blue Cross, Great West Life etc) will reimburse services offered by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check your plan’s details for eligibility.
